In order to allow an easy way to search for users and to manage the friendships request, all the users profile will be public. Then we are going to have new privacy fields for users, not only for location. These new privacy fields would not include a minimum information of user, such as name an id, in order to search for friends in the social network. This is very similar to other social networks, you can see the user's names or avatar, and if you want more information you need to be his friend.
